CadifKenya has evolved into a platform for creating enhanced awareness on environmental issues amongst the public along the lake region. The impacts of environmental education at the center is manifested in clear environmental friendly practices adopted by individuals, community groups, schools and other institutions that have participated in the environmental programmes within Lake Victoria Region.

Replication of environmental principles on solid waste management, agro forestry, rainwater harvesting for fish farming and urban irrigation are growing by the day within Kisumu and its environs. It is also important to document the fact that the principle of participation in planning and execution of environmental programmes at CadifKenya has facilitated an emergence of a strong coalition / network of environmental organizations in Nyanza. This is slowly expanding to the whole region. This has promoted visibility of the civil society contribution to environmental campaigns. It has also contributed to enhancement of efficiency in interventions and reduction of incidences of duplicity in implementation of programmes.

Cadifkenya is currently enjoying collaboration and partnership of so many youth groups, youths and youth organization. We are interested in close partnership in providing ICT Literacy Training to our youths age 10-35 yrs .

CadifKenya appreciate ICT as recommended a tool for attaining Millennium Development Goals. Our youths and young women lag behind development because of lack of timely information. This gap Cadifkenya is envisioned to bridge by providing ICT sponsorship training.

• Internet and World Wide Web Fundamentals
• Word Processing Fundamentals
• Presentation Fundamentals
• Database Fundamentals
• Spreadsheet Fundamentals

The training will cover a duration of 6 weeks at various colleges running for two hours per day.

Our Training Mission is to provide Accessibility to Information Technology for Grassroots' development to all.
Vision: Enable every young man age 10-35 yrs be ICT Compliant for attaining MDGs (2015).

Since our target group are suffering from high unemployment, most of them would not afford the normal cost of training which is usually ksh 2500 per package and for that we are seeking your support as an organization having the same vision in embracing the Global Youth Empowerment Declaration to enable us to develop a pilot ICT program and demonstrate its soundness and effectiveness to our community and to our youths.

We have at the moment brought 6 learning institutions and we are in the process of bringing more players to the initiative.
